The Lone Cartoonist Theme Song (& Apparel!)
Long-time Art & Storriors are no doubt aware of the custom intros we’ve made for the Art & Story Extreme!! podcast, and one of the most popular versions is The Lone Cartoonist.
For those who don’t know about this intro, it’s a parody song based on the theme from the 80s TV series, The Fall Guy, which was originally an anthem for the unknown stuntman. We changed the lyrics to create an anthem for the lonely cartoonist struggling away, isolated in his/her studio.
As a thank you for all the enthusiastic support we’ve received over the years, we’ve released the theme sans-explosion & cheer, as a stereo, high-bitrate version. Please feel free to download it, share it, and post it on your site!
We only ask that you don’t change the ID3 information, and when you post it on your own site that you link back to Art & Story and/or Art & Story Extreme!! Let’s pass this song around and make it an anthem for cartoonists everywhere! You can download the mp3 by right-clicking this link (or the image above) and choosing “Save File As”. A 600×600 image to include w/your link to the song can be downloaded here.
We’ve also created some new Zazzle items relating to this song. You can purchase some Lone Cartoonist shirts and hats in our Zazzle store!
